I'm a game developer.

Oh my god, you have no idea how exhilarating this is. I've been working my ass off for years, studying computer science, trying to keep my art skills maintained, looking ahead to someday when I would be leading up a game project at an existing AAA studio, and eventually my own studio.

I'm now at the first step. My proposal got picked in Game Development club and so I'm the project lead for a 3D game with a development team and everything. Holy shit, this is amazing. At the end of the year, the club has an event where we show off our work to people at Firaxis.

Firaxis.

Oh my god.

Sid Meier might play World Weaver.

I don't think I've ever been this happy in my life.

The guy who's setting it up said it'd be up by Friday at the latest. He said he was setting up the server at his house so that it was accessible on all campus networks.

and someday I will be a great person in the field of Animal Husbadry or working in Marine biology, photographing and drawing animals. Marine Ecology starts October 20th!

Congrats though, and while you are at it, Yell at Nintendo for having a game that was scratched up, please. it was fresh in the box too...
