These creatures live in the land of the redead. As we all know, after land of the living comes the land of the dead. If a creature fails to reach the land of the dead, they remain in the land of the living as the undead. Once the undead die, they go to a lonely land on the edge of the planes of existence. Creatures have only a transparent, coloured, animated skeleton and a lantern. The little candle in each redead being's lantern is their lifeforce. If an individual loses their lantern or if their candle is extinguished, they die. This is the land of the redead. It is a cutthroat world where creatures whose candles burn low steal the lanterns of others. Only the most clever and most cutthroat survive.

There's kind of a Zelda refernce in here, but you have to have played it to get it (or at least know the LoZ bestiary pretty well). It's kind of odd I decided on pink. I really don't like pink, but when this hit me, it was pink. This is an experiment with doing glass- or gemstone-like skeletal creatures. I think it turned out pretty well and I'm thinking of more applications for this. I admit the anatomy is kind of made up/fucked up in places, but I think it still looks pretty cool.

Submitting this was a fucking bitch, by the way. DA was timing out CONTINUOUSLY, along with the rest of the internet. Someone must have been staging a denial of service attack on my local server farm or something. Fuckers.
