This is a bird skeleton from my art professor's office. We learned silverpoint in class the other day and this was what I drew. I think it's a chicken skeleton.
Silverpoint on a blue-prepared ground, heightened with white watercolour on Bristol paper.
Amazering *oohs and aahs* that is really cool, water colour is hard, i did it once in 8th grade and it made me REALLY frustrated!

There really isn't that much watercolour on it, it's just the white bits on the bones. The ground is gouache with a little bit of blue and black watercolour mixed in. Other than that, it's all silverpoint.

Gouache is kind of like watercolour, but it's opaque and I think only comes in a tube. Silverpoint is pretty much what it sounds like: you coat a piece of bristol paper with gouache and draw on it with a piece of silver wire. My stylus is really ghetto; it's just a little piece of sanded-down silver wire taped to the end of a pencil with masking tape.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Entonces, ¿Cuál es exactamente la diferencia entre arte y diseño?
